Contribuer à EFTA / Contributing to EFTA

Vous voulez faire connaître un champignon consommé dans une région d'Afrique ? Vous souhaitez ajouter, à la carte de distribution d'une espèce, un spécimen comestible que vous avez collecté et/ou photographié ? Et oeuvrer ainsi à la connaissance de la diversité fongique de votre pays ?

Que vous soyez mycologue professionnel ou simplement amateur de champignons africains, devenez data provider pour la plateforme digitale Edible Fungi of Tropical Africa ! Rien de plus simple...

1) Photographiez le champignon frais sur le terrain

2) Attribuez un code unique au spécimen (votre nom suivi d'un nombre)

3) Récoltez le spécimen, séchez-le et conservez-le soigneusement sous forme d'herbier

4) Encodez dans la fiche excel jointe les métadonnées de votre spécimen

5) Envoyez par email à [email protected] la/les photos + la fiche complétée

Dans la mesure où le spécimen peut être identifié sur base de la photo, une identification / confirmation vous sera envoyée et, avec votre autorisation, le spécimen sera intégré à la base de données de EFTA.

Les métadonnées et les photographies restent votre propriété et font l'objet d'un copyright.

Do you want to share information on mushrooms consumed in tropical Africa? Do you want to add an edible species you have collected and/or photographed to the distribution map of a species? Do you want to contribute and improve the knowledge about the fungal diversity of your country?

Whether you are a professional mycologist or an amateur of African mushrooms, become a data provider for the digital platform Edible Fungi of Tropical Africa! Nothing could be simpler, this is what you do:

1) Take a picture of the fresh mushroom in the field

2) Assign a unique code to the specimen (your name followed by a unique number)

3) Collect the specimen, dry it properly and store it in a herbarium

4) Fill in the attached excel spreadsheet with the metadata of your specimen(s).

5) Email the photographs and excel sheet to [email protected]

If the specimen can be identified on the basis of the photographs, you will get a confirmation of the ID. With your permission the specimen metadata will be included in the EFTA database.

Metadata and photographs remain, at all times, your property and are subject to copyright.
